Rob has been an instructor since 2011, working with individuals and teams to help improve their baseball knowledge and skills. Prior to joining the academy, Rob spent four seasons as a varsity coach at Benjamin Franklin High School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During his tenure as the Pitching Coach, Franklin’s record was 33-12, which was the highest win percentage of Philadelphia high schools. Franklin’s pitching staff threw four no hitters, by three different pitchers and led the division in ERA from 2010-2013. Rob has also worked for the Phillies Baseball Academy and with the NFL Play 60 campaign.
Rob was a two year varsity starter at Governor Mifflin Senior High School in Shillington, PA and was a part of two Berks County championships during his three years on the team as a pitcher, left fielder and first baseman. Rob was also a three year starter at Quarterback for the football team; helping to lead the school to win the Eastern Conference Championship his senior season. Following his graduation in 2005, he attended Millersville University, playing for the Marauders football program. In 2006 he transferred to Temple University and walked on to the Temple University Football program in 2007. Following Rob’s playing career, he was the offensive coordinator for the football teams at William Penn, John Bartram and Benjamin Franklin High School, all located in Philadelphia.
